The Only Tenn-I-See Reading Series

Established in spring 2016 by poets Katie Condon and Jeremy Michael Reed, The Only Tenn-I-See Reading Series was an unaffiliated community project bringing emerging and established writers from around the country together to read their poetry, fiction, and nonfiction. Based in Knoxville, Tennessee, the readings were free and open to the public. You can see the lineup for all four school years the co-founders ran the series below.

grad Student exchange

Co-founded in 2016 by poets Tiana Clark, Katie Condon, and Jeremy Michael Reed, the UTK-Vanderbilt Graduate Student Exchange alternated between Knoxville and Nashville for several years, with the students in one program hosting the students from the other in their homes for the weekend to make connections and organize a public reading for their guests.

UTK, Sundress, & Harjo events

As a graduate student, editor at Grist and Sundress, and as part of his work as Joy Harjo's assistant, Reed collaborated on planning, executing, introducing, or hosting the above readings, workshops, and class visits among others.
