AboutJeremy Michael Reed is a writer, editor, and teacher. Originally from Michigan, he is currently pursuing a PhD in Creative Writing at the University of Tennessee. He lives in Knoxville, where he is the editor-in-chief of Grist: A Journal of the Literary Arts, assistant editor at Sundress Publications, co-director of The Only Tenn-I-See Reading Series with Katie Condon, and research assistant to Joy Harjo. His poems are published or forthcoming in Still: The Journal, Stirring: A Literary Collection, Valparaiso Poetry Review, and elsewhere, including the anthologies Bright Bones: Contemporary Montana Writing and Where the Sweet Waters Flow: Contemporary Appalachian Nature Writing. In 2017, he was a Tennessee Writer-in-Residence Fellow at Sundress Academy for the Arts, a position funded by the Tennessee Arts Commission.
